The Tampa Bay Association of Environmental Professionals is the local chapter, including Citrus, Hardy, Hernando, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk Counties, of the Florida Association of Environmental Professionals.

Our Core Activities
  1. Luncheon Meetings
    Luncheon Meetings
    Lunch Meetings happen almost every month and are an opportunity for you to learn about relevant topics and projects happening in the area as well as a time to network with colleagues
  2. Networking Socials.
    Networking Socials
    Networking socials are sponsored events that happen about every other month. They are an opportunity to network after hours with your colleagues from both public and private industries.

    The Member Orientations are an ice breaker event where past, current, prospective members, and students get an introduction to all that TBAEP does and upcoming events while networking in a small setting.
  4. Spring Picnic
    Annual Family Event
    In the spring we have a member appreciation event that is fun for the entire family! There are a variety of activities and grilled burgers and hot dogs are provided.
  5. Falliday Member Appreciation Event
    Falliday is our premier annual event. This is a free member appreciation event, TBAEP's Thank You for being a member. There are get to know you activities, a photo booth, free drinks, and photo contest winner display
  6. Community Service
    Community Outreach
    TBAEP has a community service committee who plans at least 3 activities just for TBAEP members plus partners and shares other volunteer events throughout Tampa Bay. We like for you to help us give back!
  7. Student Rising Star Scholarship
    Student Scholarships
    The Rising Start Student Scholarship is given to students who show leadership ability in our affiliated student chapters. Throughout the year at our events, we have opportunities to donate or purchase raffle tickets
  8. Environmental Awards
    Environmental Awards
    TBAEP gives environmental awards for Lifetime achievement, Professional of the Year and Project of the Year. Nominations are accepted until March 31, and winners are announced at the May Awards Luncheon
  9. Women In STEM Workshop
    Women In STEM Workshop
    The Women in STEM Workshop is an annual event that focuses on topics of interest to women in environmental fields and lets you get up close and personal with successful people in leadership positions.
  10. Annual Photo Contest
    Annual Photo Contest
    The annual photo contest is a fundraiser to help augment our Rising Star Student Scholarship Endowment fund. Winners are showcased all year, and the top 12 are featured in our annual calendar.
  11. NAEP and FAEP
    Organizational Support
    Our TBAEP Board provides support as needed to our parent chapters. For instance, we help with NAEP and FAEP Annual Conferences, membership drives and communications sharing.
  12. Student Chapters
    Student Chapter Support
    Students are the future of our environment and our TBAEP membership. We strive to foster their education and help them to find out what their career options are.
Our Industries
TBAEP is an organization comprised of students, scientists, technicians and other professionals working in the field of environmental science. TBAEP is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the general membership. TBAEP provides a forum for the exchange of ideas with other environmental professionals and the opportunity to participate in Chapter and community events.
Tampa Bay Scientists, Biologists, Engineers,  Attorneys, Geologists, Technicians, Students, Archaeologists & other Environmental Professionals (EP) are actively involved in all of TBAEP's workings.
